Why I am doing this project

I am a wife, a mom of 2, and a Christian woman, who moved, with my family, just over 2 years ago, to a city far far away. We moved for my husbands job, and didn’t know anyone. I felt alone, very often, when my man was working, and I was trying to make it through a day with a baby and a toddler, while outside it snowed and snowed. I prayed, and prayed, for a church home where we would be welcome, and where we could be a part of things. And God brought us there. I have met so many people, most of them women, who have supported and encouraged me and I have come a long way in my walk. And now, I want to get closer still to God. To understand what his word means to me. And to make it all a  part of my life. This project is helping me to read deaper, and to make the Bible my foundation for my relationship with God. I am finally letting him talk back to me, rather than just sending up requests to him.
